What makes The Paper Airplane different from other travel advisors?
I focus on story-driven travel that goes deeper than checklists. My itineraries highlight history, art, culture, and a sense of place so your journey feels immersive and uniquely yours. I also focus on people who are facing midlife or a crossroads—milestones, career pivots, empty nests, seasons of reinvention, etc.
Do you plan Disney trips or big cruise ship vacations?
I don’t. There are already many talented travel advisors who specialize in cruises and all things Disney, and they do so beautifully. My focus is on immersive travel based on history and stories. That being said, I do create Disney-inspired escapes as well as smaller sailing and yacht cruises for travelers who want that style of experience.
What does it mean that you’re a Fora Travel Advisor?
Being part of Fora means I can turn the itinerary we created into reality. Through their global partnerships, I’m able to offer added perks like upgrades and special amenities, all while keeping my focus on designing meaningful, story-rich journeys. There’s absolutely zero pressure to use Fora to book, but I like to offer it as an option.
I enjoy planning, especially with AI. Why would I need your services?
I love AI too! But I believe you still need that human element. If you enjoy planning your own trips, think of me as a collaborator. I can handle the research, connections, and logistics so you can focus on the fun parts. You still get to shape the vision, but with added expertise and insider access.
Do you charge to book hotels or accommodations?
Nope! Booking hotels through me doesn’t cost extra. I’m paid commission through Fora’s travel partners, often with perks like upgrades or breakfast included. I only charge for itinerary planning and coaching services.
What does it mean to be an ICF-certified Travel Coach?
It means I’ve completed professional training recognized by the International Coaching Federation. It shows I use proven coaching methods and uphold ethical standards. When we work together, you can trust the process to be intentional and client-focused.
